In-Game Ad Leader Double Fusion Adds New Enlight Software Releases Including

American McGee's Bad Day L.A. to Catalog of Games Available to Advertisers

SAN FRANCISCO—August 29, 2006—Leading independent in-game advertising company Double Fusion has added to its network of games available to advertisers by partnering with developer Enlight Software to provide dynamic in-game advertising opportunities via upcoming games American McGee presents Bad Day L.A. and Hotel Empire. Both games feature compelling gameplay and urban, modern-day settings, providing advertisers with a highly effective vehicle to reach and engage valuable and elusive gamer demographics.

Developed by iconic game designer American McGee (American McGee’s Alice, now being produced by Universal as a feature film; American McGee’s Oz; American McGee presents Scrapland), Enlight’s irreverent third-person shooter Bad Day L.A. thrusts players behind the shopping cart of a homeless man turned city-saving crusader. The game became available at retail Monday, August 28.

Enlight’s simulation Hotel Empire, shipping in the first half of 2007, sets gamers in the role of budding hotel managers as they pick locations, hire and assign staff, strike deals and make the strategic and day-to-day decisions needed to build and operate a world-renowned hotel property.

"We’re very excited to offer Enlight’s new game titles as premium opportunities for our advertisers," Jonathan Epstein, CEO, Double Fusion commented. “Our reach is continuing to grow, enabling Double Fusion to offer great single-title opportunities, as well as broad reach through the full catalogue of titles we work with.”

Dynamic advertising allows advertisers to run many campaigns over time within a single title, instead of having one ad run throughout the life of the game. The partnership between Double Fusion and Enlight Software increases the number of titles Double Fusion can offer advertisers and allows for greater reach when placing ads through the Double Fusion network.

“Selecting Double Fusion as our in-game advertising provider for our new titles was an easy decision. As the leader in the space, they will be contributing to the continued success of our games in addition to creating an additional revenue flow for our company,” Trevor Chan, founder and CEO of Enlight Software said. “We were sold on the fact that the ads will continue to change and evolve over the course of the game, providing players with an up-to-the-minute look and feel, enhancing the overall impact of the game.”

“Given its real world locales and vibrant cityscape, Bad Day L.A. presents the perfect canvas for advertising by providing a game framework where gameplay and ads can coexist seamlessly,” said Ted Staloch, Executive Vice President of Publishing for Aspyr, the U.S. distributor of the game. “We are looking forward to working with advertisers to make the game’s environments come alive.”

Double Fusion enables advertisers to harness the huge reach, targeting and engagement potential of videogames, most notably to the critical and hard to reach 13-34 demographic. The company provides the widest range of dynamic in game advertising and marketing programs, from measured spot media buys all the way up to fully immersive storyline integrations.
